Easter egg cookies are FUN to make because anything goes! Kids love to decorate and help come up with new designs. My favorite way to decorate cookie eggs is to glaze the cookies a solid color (or multiple solid colors, using my specialty glazing technique) and then letting them dry. Once dry, you can add all kinds of lines, squiggles, swirls and dots, and no matter what you do, you will have some cute Easter eggs! It's particularly fun to personlize them. Use frosting for your designs, or use food coloring markers to make it extra easy. The sky's the limit with these little guys! A bunny makes a cute centerpiece for your arrangement, but if you're nervous about the detail, just add in another egg and you're covered.
Bake 3 eggs on 11" sticks and 3 eggs (or 2 eggs and a bunny!) on 8" sticks. Arrange your cookies in a cookie gift box or a clay pot for extra cuteness.
