Love Letter & Hearts Arrangement

I love this arrangement because it's so simple and yet it will totally impress your friends. I know, I know-- I say this all the time, but YOU can do this bouquet! The trickiest part was the writing on the envelope, but if you're nervous about writing a lot, you can simplify it by just writing a name instead of a whole address, or leave the envelope out all together and just put another heart in the middle.

I used the Small Heart Cookie Cutter for this one. I baked 3 of the hearts on 11" sticks and three on 8" sticks. (I probably could have used a 6" stick for the front heart-- I ended up having to trim the stick down a little). I made the envelope by placing a 3x5 card on the dough and cutting around it with a pizza cutter. I baked that on an 8" stick.

The cookies were glazed using marbling and feathering techniques, which you can read all about in the Tutorial section. There is no right or wrong way to do these hearts. Be creative, and anything you do will look amazing!

Conversation Heart Arrangement

I love Valentine's Day cookies because you can do some very simple things and get really impressive results. These cookies are SO EASY and fun!

I used the Medium Heart Cookie Cutter and baked three of them on 11" sticks and the other 3 on 8" sticks. After they cooled I made up some glaze in pink, white, lavender, green and yellow (to make them look more pastel, I also added a couple of drops of Bright White coloring). I glazed the cookies and let them dry for several hours, then came back and added some cute conversation-heart-like sayings, outlined the hearts, and I was done! I bet the actual decorating time was 15 minutes.

When the frosting dried, I assembled the bouqet by putting some florist's foam in a Pink Hearts Coookie Gift Box, and placing some tissue paper between the foam and the box. Then I inserted the sticks into the foam, and that was it! A very cool gift in a very short amount of time.

The really cool thing about this arrangement is that it's very customizable. You can easily personalize the hearts and the recipient will LOVE it!

Another little side note: I usually like to use solid tissue paper in my arrangements because I want the focus to be on the cookies. This time I tried some white tissue paper with tiny red hearts on it in the front and back of the bouquet. It's hard to see in the picture, but it is really cute!! Maybe I should think outside the box a little more!

Patriotic Centerpiece

What a fun way to add pizzazz to your next 4th of July bash! Or, use this arrangement to honor a veteran or a serviceman. Creating the arrangement is easy. All you need are some cookies baked on sticks, a patriotic box, some florists' foam, and red, white and blue tissue paper (I found mine at the dollar store!). Birthday Cookie Arrangement

Here's a fun alternative to flowers the next time you're in search of an original birthday gift! It doesn't get any easier than these colorful balloons, and the birthday cake is just a wedding cake with the top tier cut off and some colorful decorations added. All cookies were baked on cookie sticks, decorated, and inserted into some florists' foam that was cut to fit inside the Birthday Box. Tissue paper helps fill in the gaps and adds extra color. Simple Cookie Arrangement for Teacher

What teacher wouldn't love a cute arrangement like this? Your teacher can eat the delicious cookies now and enjoy the mug year round. This would be great for Teacher Appreciation Week, Christmas, or an end-of-the-year thank you for a favorite teacher. Cookie in a Box

We have created a free printable box that makes cookie gift-giving easy, inexpensive, and adorable! Print out the box template (choose rectangular or square, depending on your cookie shape) on heavy cardstock. Leave the box a solid color, or mount patterned scrapbook paper on the cardstock for countless color options. Line the window area with cellophane for a professional looking box at a fraction of the cost.

Place Card Cookies

Cookies are great for parties! It's easy to create fun place cards for your next big bash. For rectangular place cards, use an index card as your template when cutting the dough. Cut around the card with a pizza cutter, and bake the cookies as usual. Decorate according to your party theme, adding guests names to each cookie. Use small acrylic easels to prop up the cookies and place around your table.

Your guests will love it!!

Pizza Box Party Invitation

How cute is this pizza box invitation?!

We have created the pizza box template for you. Just print it out (it's free!) on heavy cardstock, cut, paste and fold, and you have an invitation that nobody will forget! The inside of the box is blank, so don't feel limited to an invitation. You can use it for party favors, birthday gifts, and more. Just print your desired message and paste it to the inside of the box. Pizza cookies are easy to make. Just use a round cutter and be creative with your toppings!

Note: You may want to line the bottom of the box with wax paper or parchment to prevent grease spots on your box.

Flower Pot Cookie Arrangement

A few flower cookies in a clay pot is just about my favorite cookie project. It's easy, inexpensive, and so whimsical. Small clay pots are very economical (I paid 42 cents for the one used here). All you need is the pot, some cookie sticks, a little tissue paper and some florist's foam, and you're ready to go. Cookie Wedding Favor

Thank your guests for sharing in your big day by creating cookie favors for each well-wisher. Hearts, bells, or wedding cakes are all great ideas for wedding favors. You can add the bride and groom's names and wedding date to the cookies, or if you don't want to write that much in frosting, use one of our free printable tag templates to print tags with your chosen message. Seal them up in cellophane bags and tie with a ribbon for a great presentation.
